Supporting learners and families at The Anchored School

The Anchored School PTO supports the educational experience and activities of students at The Anchored School. We foster collaboration among parents, teachers, staff, and the school community; assist with planning and executing school events and initiatives that benefit students and families; and provide volunteer support for programs that strengthen the school community.
The PTO is an all-volunteer public charity incorporated in Texas in July 2026 and recognized by the Internal Revenue Service as exempt under Section 501(c)(3). Every dollar raised is directed to student-facing programming — enrichment, service learning, student leadership initiatives, classroom resources, and community events that connect families to the school.
The organization is governed by a volunteer board operating under written bylaws that include conflict-of-interest, dual-approval, and two-person cash-handling provisions. The PTO does not manage school operations, payroll, or finances. Its sole purpose is to expand what is possible for the learners the school serves.
